Time to Change is committed to safeguarding children and vulnerable adults. This statement reflects our obligations under the Children First Act 2015, the National Guidance for the Protection and Welfare of Children (Tusla, 2017), and the IACP Code of Ethics & Practice.
Our commitments
- Treat every client with dignity, respect and care.
- Recognise and respond to signs of abuse or neglect.
- Report reasonable concerns to Tusla — the Child and Family Agency — as a Mandated Person under the Act.
- Cooperate with An Garda Síochána and statutory bodies where required.
- Maintain ongoing safeguarding training and clinical supervision.
Designated Liaison Person
Linda Corlett acts as the Designated Liaison Person for safeguarding matters. Concerns may be raised in confidence at linda@timetochange.ie.
